Considered a classic, but perhaps not as appreciated or well known as it deserves to be, the Ugly Face was originally designed by Tim Escobedo. It's a LM386 based distortion/fuzz that takes your signal on a wild ride reminiscent of the tamer side of the Schumann PLL. Think dutty, glitchy octaves and more.
My PCB design extends the frequency range, adds a voltage starve and includes 2 additional filter settings.
I recommend also picking up the Johnny Five 3PDT footswitch to compliment this project and provide the LED power indicator function.
