The moloko plus PCB is based on a bizarre and little known effect from the late 1970s called the Jen HF Modulator. Also known as the Gretsch PlayBoy.
On its own there's not much to sing about, but stack this with a Fuzz or Distortion in front and you get a controllable tremolo like effect with octave/synth/robot overtones. It's especially effective with dirt pedals with a lot of sustain - Highly recommended boxed up with the Big Nothing Distortion or the Weird Scenes Fuzz.
My take runs on 3 x BC109 transistors and has some minor value tweaks.
I recommend also picking up the Johnny Five 3PDT footswitch to compliment this project and provide the LED power indicator function.
